In a world ripped by cataclysm and hidden magic, broken by chaos, and suffering under the rise of many false gods, a beacon of hope emerged. Rooted in the sacred tradition of Torah, the Academy forged righteous leaders and disciplined protectors who carry truth, justice, and light into every corner of the world. With their ancient wisdom and devoted to the greater good , they offered more than safety, shelter, and skills, but to those who embraced its ways and way of life: knowledge, friendship, family, and community. The light of hope.

Across the millennia, new threats would rise and then fall, always failing against the Academy's forces of good. Now, once again, evil is uniting to create disorder, jealous of the Academy's power and successes. The Academy reached out to its graduates, inviting them to return and help them uncover the threats and vanquish the evil. A few heeded the call. Some unsuspecting heroes, some seeking gold, others striving for greatness, seeking to find their passion, their purpose, and ultimately, enlightenment. They will venture forth! Discover the unknown. Repair old worlds, build new. From sacred study to battlefield mastery, guardians of wisdom, champions of order, and heroes against the encroaching darkness, they will rise to become, Knights of the Righteous Path!

The team is a special team of operatives, fixers, and troubleshooters. Each one received that letter from the Academy, asking them to return to their old school. Leave their jobs, friends, and family behind, and rise for the greater good. The chosen of the chosen. The will become the first team, the A team. Reporting to the reserved and mysterious Dean Strax, Menahel of the Spies, they are sent out to uncover the threats to the Academy, its adherents, and its allies; protecting and rescuing those who cannot fend for themselves, the weak, and the downtrodden. Threats abound from enemy factions led by city council members, such as Lord Thorgood, the powerful controller and persistent political survivor, who will do anything make his city great and himself greater, to a rising cult, the Wurm Ascendancy, led by an unholy alliance between a mysterious man and an evil mage, and the rediscovery of the Codex Arma, ancient knowledge being wielded anew for greater evils. The missions will be difficult and harrowing. Some may not return. But where there is a threat to order, to the good, to the people, and world looks to the Academy, and the team will be there.

More than a millennia ago, a cataclysm hit the Olam. The lands and waters changed. Some disappeared but many new ones appeared. Mountains were torn down or just disappeared; with new mountains appearing where there were plains. Deserts were created and forest appeared where no life was thought to be able to survive.

People from faraway lands disappeared. New people and races replaced what was taken.Strange new animals came out of these new lands and waters. Some were friendly but many were dangerous.

The world broke!

Civilizations and its people were thrust into chaos. Broken, disheartened and desperate, they needed hope and leadership. They followed anyone with a message that could show them a way. Towards light or dark, the path differed by the messenger. Some were good, but many were evil, with the purpose to gather power for themselves and create an order in their own image.

Into this world you were born. Fortunately, your family was one of the few that did not follow those false ones; but did their best given the circumstances. Instead of following others into darkness they wanted to seek the light; find the truth. They made it their mission to take action. That is why you are here. Whether it was a parent, a friend, a mentor, or a complete stranger, someone saw something in you and instilled in you a desire to repair the world and make it a better place.

With a desire for knowledge and training, you came to this city. But, more importantly, with a strong need to belong to something bigger than you, you discovered the Academy. One of many such places in this world, that offers safety, shelter, and skills; but we offer more: knowledge, friendship, and community. Here, you will find enlightenment, purpose and your passion.

The Academy is special to us. We stayed true to the Ohr Ha'Torah. Here, we teach the Derech Eretz -- The Way of the World.
